Redetec Remote Detection

Remote smoke detection can be retro fitted to the Redetec units to accompany the internal detection or can replace the internal detection if required. As default the Redetec is set to Double Knock and is therefore programmed to identify and only go into full alarm mode when two devices are activated by sensing smoke. Single knock can be selected to achieve full alarm status when just one of the two devices is activated, however this is not recommended to prevent false activations.

 

This kit includes 2x Smoke detectors with a 1.5M lead c/w/ the necessary plugs and fixing to connect to the Redetec and fix to the cabinet (*Note: As standard all Redetec units fitted with optical detectors require 2U of free space underneath to allow ventilation to the detection system, if this is not available then remote detection will be required).
