Buffer momentary temperature fluctuations
- Measures temperature from -20° to 115°F | -28° to 46°C
- Accurate to ± 1°F | ± .56°C
- Glass bead filled vial will buffer any momentary fluctuations that may cause a preliminary alarm
- Includes 12’ of wire
- Suitable for use in wet or dirty environments
The Temperature Sensor in Glass Bead Vial can be used with most Sensaphone models to measure the temperature of objects in a refrigerator or freezer. By placing the sensor in a bottle filled with glass beads users will receive a reading that represents the temperature of the refrigerator’s contents rather than the ambient air temperature. The Sensaphone will trigger an alarm when the temperature falls outside of the programmed high or low temperature limit.
The glass bead filled vial will also buffer any momentary fluctuations that may cause a preliminary alarm dial out, such as defrost cycles, opening of doors, and fans circulating air. The glass beads will slow the response time of the sensor allowing normal daily operations to occur without having an alarm. The included 12 feet of wire can be extended with optional accessory wire.
